THE EARTH GUILD

Few believe the Earth Guild exists—yet none who enter the northern forests dare ignore its legends. Villagers speak in hushed tones of an ancient pact: take too much, and the woods retaliate.

During the Great War, greedy loggers vanished without trace. Survivors told of whispers in the dark, figures slipping between trees, and beasts moving with unnatural intelligence. Bears hunted like wolves. Birds stalking them. Some swore they saw vine-wrapped figures orchestrating it all.

Those who return after days lost in the wilds are never the same. "Forest sickness," the villagers call it—a madness that brings warnings of living roots and watching eyes. Most dismiss them as ravings. But the wise listen.

The Guild, if it is real, leaves no proof. Only consequences.
